This is the end of my love affair with Apple laptops. It’s been 10 years.
I’ll miss you, but you’ve changed. You’ve adopted standards that I just can’t accept.
With my 2010 Mac Book, I swallowed hard and accepted a sealed battery. It was unfortunate but OK.
However, come 2013, I knew our break up was inevitable.
With the end of this 13 inch Non Retina MacBook Pro, it means you are forcing non-industry standard hard drives on all of us, and the RAM in your laptops is now non-replaceable and non-upgradable.
Apple, that is a line that I cannot cross.
This is our break up letter.
I’m still an iPhone user and your iPad makes me blush, but as for Mac laptops — we are done.
