Only certain Verizon plans are getting a data increase. The 500 MB is going to 1 GB, 1 GB is going to 2 GB, and 2 GB is going to 3 GB. No changes are required. Customers who opt for Verizon’s new EDGE program (never buying another phone on contract again), will be eligible for a $10 or $20 per line savings per month. This is applicable to all plans.
