Verizon Wireless acquires spectrum from Comcast, others for $3.6 billion.

If this joint venture is approved – Verizon is going to have the best cellular coverage in this country for a LONG time.

Of course, this deal needs FCC approval, but I don’t expect there to be outrage over this like.   AT&T’s proposed takeover of T-Mobile USA has been plagued by errors and bad PR.

I think Verizon has learned from their blunders.
