Windows October security updates

Microsoft has just released major security updates for this month.
They release such updates every month, but October’s updates are particularly significant because they fix 49 vulnerabilities within Windows.  In a sense this is the most substantial monthly update they have ever released.

Here is the link to the bulletin with the individual updates.

If you have noticed your Windows computer installing updates (and at times asking you to restart ) AUTOMATICALLY — you should be all set for this update.

If this seems foreign to you, then there is a problem.   Your computer is not protected.  Please go to this web page, turn the automatic updates on and install the current ones in the process.
